Empowerment my ***!

This poem i wrote during one of my HR lectures you can make it out by reading the poem. Please bare with me. There are some moments like these which bring me closer to reality and makes me aware of my existence and the reason for so. Hence here we go
They tell us we want you "to be happy"
Then they silently cut our oxygen
The reason they give us is "Cost cutting"

They say we want to" make work fun"
Then they remove the cushions off out seats
The reason they give us is "work study"

They say we want to take care of "your health"
They they change a 5 day to a 6 day shift
The reason they give us is to "Increase Productivity"

They say bring your friends and family we want to "hire them"
Then they show us the pink slip
The reason they give us is "Right Sizing"

So my dear HR tell me how to trust you
I have been stabbed a million times before
Give me a reason as to why not this time again

War of the worlds

Which side are you on?
We all are at war,
War between nations
War between states
War between competitors,
War within family
War between spouses
War between siblings
War between good and evil
War for existence
War for success, fame etc.
The funniest of all battles is the battle to prove one self’s sanity. People of my side of fence are called Mad or insane or to put it very politely mentally challenged. We are any thing but mentally challenged I could solve Shakuntala Devi entire puzzle set when I was in my high school, sometimes even the post graduates are not able to solve. The only difference between me and you is that I am not afraid to speak my mind. You sitting in your bed at night, back from a hectic day at office or school, perplexed about the complexity in your life. Trying to figure out your purpose or as to why are you making yourself go through this trauma. Questioning as to do you really deserve it. Just to realize in the morning that you have a bad headache after thinking so much and you are late for office. As for me I choose not to be a part of this fiasco and secondly I do not believe in western medicine hence cannot afford a headache. So tell me one thing why do you all hate me. Why am I looked down on when I cross the road with my mother holding her hand? I too have eyes and can see you pointing your fingers at me and passing silent remarks. I wish not to be judged hence I choose to live here in this place. We all are equal here and no one judges me or stares at me when I am not looking. Yesterday my best friend here showed me his birthday gift sent to him by his parents. By the way he turned 16 this year a full grown men. The gift was a small music piece with a couple dancing and mirrors reflecting everything infinite times. He stared at it for 3 full days and then after the third day he came up to me and said that he cannot figure out why his parents sent such an expensive and useless gift to an asylum. He winked me a went on to his routine tasks. We are normal too, may out mind does not work in the same way as yours but then I like to be called as a rebel not an abnormal. You know what you all disgust me, you are so hypocrite that it churns my stomach. If being normal means pretending to love some one or pretending to live a life with every ones approval. Then I am happy in this place I want to live life without regrets and nods of approval.
I am sorry for you. I know you have no choice but to play the game on the society norms and rules. Well I just hope one day if you figure this out and dare to step out into my world. Come and look for me I promise to help you to make this cross over.
