Californication

The famous song by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I tried a lot to find the meaning of this word but unluckily there is no dictionary meaning of this word. Some words like this one are so fluid there meaning changes from person to person. Like the correct usage is like the "Dream of californication". Yesterday I went to get together at my aunts house and I found out that my uncle using the phrase "In morning when I got a call from my boss I had a californication" in the middle of a conversation .This statement caught my eye and did he meant that he had some kind of cramps or did he had a thrashing from his boss I was quite confused as to what it meant. Latter that day I asked my uncle about this conversation he replied and said "Beta, I meant that I had a promotion" how can it mean a promotion on that he said since I was so happy I had a "californication". Okay accepted it’s a fluid word. So what does this phrase means "Dream of californication". It’s a state of day dreaming where you build baseless castles in the air.
When you sit in you bath tub and dreaming of beautiful girls hanging out with you on a beach.
When you are in a boring meeting and then you dream of taking you bosses position least aware of the fact that you need to make a presentation.
When you are giving you IIT examination and dream that how great it would be if you got admission to IITB you entire career will be formed.
According to me this is the state of californication. Completely gibberish isn’t it.

Ingredients of a terrorist

While I was going through the newspaper today the headlines caught my eye "Sanjay Dutt not guilty". Okay so he is not guilty of TADA then why is he being sentenced for 5 years of imprisonment oh he has be charged under the arms act for the possession of an AK-46. Accha so what were the parameters on which he was "not guilty". So let us analyze the situation what are the characteristic features of a terrorist.
Possession of arms
Trained to use various weapons of destruction
A long history of betrayal and pain
Being brain washed
Signs of rage or anger
A police record (optional)
So did our convict posses any one of these characteristics. Lets say about option number 1 okay agreed he was in possession of arms and since he had arms he would definitely knew how to use them since I really doubt him to be that stupid. The third option well he had a major break up 4-5 years back that did make in a lot aggressive and between you and me he did had a police record he was drunk and driving and he hit an old lady crossing the street. So the option 5 and 6 covered hence it makes 5 down just one more to go. Brain washed we all know that during his break up he was into drugs and we all know that drugs affect the nervous system of a human hence he lost control of his own thinking. So we exhaustively analyzed the situation and according to us he is GUILTY for TADA. But what do we know we are just the common man.

Count Dracula my friend

Since I was in my teens I used to be mesmerized by count Dracula his homeland Transylvania. It’s not just because of it sexual hypnotism but because I thought I could relate my self with "It". I discovered the evil side of me the one which I never knew existed. I surfaced all my deepest held desires, my secret passions came to life. I started understanding myself my inner self started unraveling itself. The innocent girl of 16 wasn’t as innocent after all. Even Bram Stoker might not have predicted the intensity of the character he created. I sometimes find my self thinking as to how will it be if I had a real life experience with a Dracula.
What would I do?
Why don’t you ask this question to yourself what will you do and be realistic?
If you ask me I think you don’t need to go out in the dark moonless night to search for a Dracula. Try to concentrate and look within you have you never felt sinful, have you never wanted to do something which you knew no one will approve of. Don’t we all regret something in our past which if given a chance we wish to undo. So let me portrait a picture of the similarities between us and the Count Dracula.
Blood Sucking: I guess in this world some one is sucking your blood and you sre sucking someone else’s.
Cross and garlic: No matter how brave we portray ourselves to be each one of us is scared of something or the other even the legendary bhim was scared of rats.
